LLM SQE Professional Legal Practice
Section
The LLM SQE Professional Legal Practice program prepares students for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and professional legal careers in the UK. It covers advanced legal concepts in areas such as commercial law, property law, dispute resolution, and ethics, while providing practical skills essential for modern legal practice.
Students learn client advocacy, legal drafting, negotiation, research, and professional conduct, combining theoretical knowledge with simulated real-world scenarios. The program also emphasizes commercial awareness, critical thinking, and problem-solving, which are crucial for success in law firms or corporate legal departments.
Delivered across ARU’s Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses, students benefit from experienced faculty, well-equipped legal simulation rooms, and networking opportunities with industry professionals. Graduates are well-prepared for careers as solicitors, legal consultants, or for further postgraduate legal study.
